1. Who these terms are between

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of AvenStory (the "Service"), operated by Kartexa ("we", "us"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

AvenStory provides AI-generated audio stories and, where available, public-domain audiobooks, accessible via a web/PWA app on a subscription basis. Free accounts get a limited number of stories per month; Premium accounts get unlimited access as described on the pricing page.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly or yearly) and auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Prices are shown in INR (via Cashfree) or USD (via PayPal) depending on the payment method you choose at checkout.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Profile; cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. AI-generated content

Most stories on AvenStory are generated by AI models and are original works created for this Service. They are fictional, not intended as factual, medical, legal, or financial guidance, and are moderated for general-audience safety but not manually reviewed line-by-line before publishing. Report anything inappropriate and we'll remove it.

5. Public-domain audiobooks

Where classic literature is offered as audio, we only include titles we've verified as public domain in the relevant jurisdiction at time of publishing. If you believe a title infringes a copyright, contact us and we'll investigate and remove it if warranted.

6. Acceptable use

Don't share your account credentials, scrape or redistribute audio/text content, or use the Service to generate or extract content for resale elsewhere.

7. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile; this stops billing but does not retroactively refund past charges beyond what's described in the Refund Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.
